Welcome to Troop 48’s website!

We are an Active EAGLE Opportunity Troop believing in a program that:

Emphasizes Outdoor Experiences and Community Service

Provides Opportunities for Leadership Development

Promotes a life exemplifying the Scout Oath and Law

Troop 48 is a youth-led adventure based scout program, continuously active since 1954. Troop 48 prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Troop 48's scouting program offers leadership, organizational, outdoor and practical life skills, along with fun-filled comradery and life-long memories. Having such an impactful, positive experience as scouts, many of our members continue to support the program as adults, parents & grandparents, passing along these values and skills to the next generation.
