Community Service

Do a Good Turn Daily! Troop 48 is committed to serving our community. In addition to our Eagle Scout Projects, the troop regularly participates in Community Service.

Community Service is an integral part of Scouting. Each Scout is required to participate in community service projects as part of their Rank Advancement method. By the time a scout reaches Eagle, they have participated in a minimum of 18 hours of community service. Further, to obtain Eagle rank a scout must plan, develop and give leadership to others in a service project.
